During the recently trip to Nakhon Si Thammarat, we have decided to travel back south by using the railway since we have not travel in train before in Thailand.
And guess what, it's FREE. No charge for the ticket.
Our journey starts here early in the morning.
The interior of the train, quite rustic it's like going back in time.
Some of the places the train went thru, it's totally new for us. Place that most tourist won't even heard of.
Enjoying the breeze and the countryside scenery.
The train is a great way to travel if you don't mind of been slow, hot and dusty. It shows you the actual lives of the local people, unlike those commercialized travel that shows you only what they want you to see.
Food is abundant during the train ride as local people selling their foods and goods onboard the train.
Finally arrived in Hatyai after 4 hours on the railway.
