Guan Yin Opening Ceremony, Wat Kok Wanaram Langkawi

The opening ceremony of Guan Yin statue was held recently on 19/05/2014 at Wat Kok Wanaram, Langkawi. There's number of high ranking and famous monk been invited to the ceremony including top monk from Thailand, Taiwan and Tibet.

Some blessing been done by the residence monk.

Scarborough Fish N Chips, Langkawi

Recently managed to get time off to visit the Scarborough Fish N Chips after receiving feedback.

There's two camper van parked inside the compound of the restaurant. The trademark of the restaurant?

Customer have the choices to choose whether to sit next to the beach or next to the stall.

Chicken chop, the chicken chop here are grilled, as been written on the menu.

Fish N Chips, I've chosen a Snow Fish instead of Dory Fish. The Signature here was the Chips which is homemade and the sizes are big and thick, they're also very generous with the Chips portion.

Lastly, our take-away pizzas. Totally burned..

Overall, the food is just ok. But the atmosphere is good although the service are quote slow.. The restaurant is located at Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi. Just on the roadside of Tanjung Rhu Beach. It's closed on Monday.

Wat Kok Wanaram 19/05/2014 (Morning & Night)

The big day of Wat Kok Wanaram, Langkawi on 19/05/2014, the opening ceremony of the Kuan Yin Statue was done in the morning. It was started by Tibetan Monk.

Later in the night, there plenty of event been held.

Bathing the Baby Buddha, like what we normally do on Wesak Day.

Other than praying for the ancestor inside the main praying hall, there's also praying for the wandering soul.

The event at night is led by Monk from Taiwan and Tibet.
